Roman women’s clothing during the Dark Ages?

I’m doing a project for school about the book The Silver Wolf, by Alice Borchardt. I have to dress up like the main character (Regeane) for my presentation. What did women wear in Rome during the Dark Ages? If you’ve read the book, it would also be helpful if you could say how to pronounce Regeane’s name, as well.
